Black and white photo of a woman sitting on a stool with crossed legs, wearing a light-colored shirt, a dark skirt, and white socks, posing against a plain background.

When I decided to freeze my eggs,

i called over 103 clinics.

CENTO!!!

I had almost 10 years in pharma.
I knew how healthcare systems work.
I thought I was prepared.
I was not prepared.

Here's what I actually found:

❌ Clinics quoting prices that didn't include medication (which can add €800–€1,500)
❌ "Coordinators" who couldn't answer basic questions about the protocol
❌ Zero emotional support. Zero.
❌ Nutrition advice that was literally:

"eat well and take folic acid"

The information gap isn't accidental.

Clinics are not incentivised to make this easy to understand.

The more confused you are, the more likely you are to go local.

Local means expensive.

Expensive means more revenue for them.

Here's what I learned from those 100 calls that I now use for every woman I work with:

→ The 3 questions that tell you immediately if a clinic is worth your time
→ How to read a price quote and spot what's missing
→ The difference between a clinic that's "accredited" and one that's actually good

You don't need to make 100 calls.

That's my job.
